cedar rapids, we had a gust of 63 miles an hour. the same story in iowa city, and all throughout eastern iowa, winds in the range of 502060 miles an hour were very common this afternoon. actually when you get a severe thunderstorm, you have to have winds of 57 miles an hour, so we were actually above the threshold for that in eastern iowa today. real gales out there. here's our wind forecast. at 9:00, we're still looking at gusts of 30 miles an hour in cedar rapids. but as you can see here going through the night and getting down to 7:00 a.m., the winds are down to 18 miles an hour. then finally later tomorrow afternoon, most of our winds in the range of 10 to 15 miles per hour. so much, much less on the winds as we get into tomorrow. and the other nice thing about tomorrow will be the that should be up in the 50s. so you take out the wind, throw in the sunshine and toss in temperatures that will be up around 50 to 55, we should have ourselves a beautiful day of weather all across eastern iowa tomorrow. here is our hour-by-hour fore
